I'm surprised by Rich's restraint.

Rich's bandages came off over the weekend. They were fraying, but the final removal involved...some assistance on his part. Then he pulled me in, begging for relief from the adhesive that was causing the bulk of the discomfort. His skin is not so gruesome. The subdermal stitches will dissolve. The skin itself was held together with the bandaging. It healed really nicely. Kind of like having sliced your skin with something very sharp...and then holding it together so that it heals itself cleanly.

He'll likely post a nice little pictures of the little wound soon. It really looks so...harmless. Like he just got a deep scratch or something.

On the house front, we finally wrapped up almost everything that needed doing at the old house. We traded out closets, which turned out to be a surprisingly good decision. The closet at the new house turns out not to have been anchored into the studs of the closet. The two long sides were supported entirely by drywall anchors! How ridiculous. I felt quite justified in changing out our closets. Plus, if we had actually attempted to put our clothes in our new closet, we could have caused some serious drywall damage!

Now that Rich is feeling better, I think we'll make more progress towards sorting and unpacking.
