Geez, this looks so much worse than it was. First, the boy didn't shed show much as a single tear or even water up when the tooth came out. He was quite surprised as I think the thought it was going to hurt. Second, Rich was FAR more traumatized than the boy. And third, there wasn't really that much blood. Just a little bit.
it *is* a lot more blood than I remember, though. Abby has lost three so far, and each time I have been thoroughly repulsed. Somehow, that memory did not survive childhood.
