They bloomed when we were gone. They looked great!
Yep. We were there.
Okay, so i'm playing a little blog catch.up. This sign in waimea looked like it said we sell pot. So i took a picture.
The view from the start
There's a huge cruise liner right outside our window. I think they're spying on us.
Amy gets back in the car, lush hillside behind her.
Taken from a vista point.
These things are planted everywhere.
This seriously made my day. Amy said it's good luck he a turtle swims up to you.
His name was jake. He came up to say hi so i petted him.
I didn't expect so much lava here. It's one big sheet of rock.
Yes, i'm using my phone while in the air!
The shuttle bus in honolulu.
Lesson learned - do not check baggage curbside. It took forever.
He ran the whole way across
Redding's only landmark
Yay!
Heading home, then off to Redding.
The smoke has blown all across the valley.
Today, i watched HDTV for the first time, i spent 10 bucks at walmart on an antenna. It looks okay, i guess. I just don't want to be one of those people who refuses to watch standard def from now on.
He was very excited to see the blimp.
It's that rice looking spot in the sky.
Showing off in front of REI.
I just don't know.
This is a state parking lot right by my building, completely empty. Meanwhile, i'm parking a mile away in the ghetto and walking in to work as my car gets broken into. I demand justice!
He carried the bag out to the car. Of course, when we crossed the street, we held hands.
He carried the basket through our entire trip at the store.

He likes to help.
Okay, now stay this way.
Not one bit
When you're sick, you just want to be as comfortable as possible until it's over. Here we are on the couch with a banana, some loungewear, and Nemo. What could be better?
My last shot from Florida. Turns out the rain from this morning only lasted a couple hours, and it was sunny by 10am. Gainesville airport was tiny. My flight was delayed, so they put me on an earlier flight, which was delayed to the time my original flight was set to leave. It turns out the flight from Gainesville to Atlanta was one of the worst I've ever been on. There was a storm between the two airports, and the ride was as choppy as it could have been. The guy behind me kept gripping my seat with his hands as he held on for his life, and a girl behind me spent almost the entire trip with an airsick bag stuck to her face.
The flight from Atlanta wasn't much better. It was supposed to leave at 8.10pm, which was delayed to 8.30, then to 8.40. Finally, they let us on, but it took nearly 2 more hours to actually get in the air. To be fair, the weather in Atlanta was pretty horrible. It was raining HARD outside, and you could see the wind whipping the rain around. They were having tornado watches in the area. But we did get off the ground eventually, after waiting for the queue in front of us to take off. Overall, I was just happy to be able to get home that evening.
When it rains, it pours. At least it waited until the last day.
