Soccer seeding tournament

Drew's soccer team, The Crew, went unscored on for 4 games in their seeding tournament, and easily topped every team. After the games, they posed for some vanity shots.

No more rollerblading for Amy

Amy ended a 4 mile rollerblading trip with a crash 2 houses from home, and managed to break her arm. She enjoyed a ride to the hospital in an ambulance, and a full day, split between the emergency room and surgery. She's on the mend, but now realizes how useful two arms can be, after only having use of one.

Swim lessons

In the Summer, the water at the YMCA gets colder. He's looking forward to winter lessons.

Bagel orders

We made a bagel run while visiting Berkeley. Drew handed his list over to the lady at the counter and everyong got what they wanted.

Just a little fabric

Nothing she won't work around.

Beautiful flowers

From my friends Ruth and Kevin. Made my day!

Done

They both fell asleep before we entered the reptile house.

A bit underwhelmed

Somehow, they were wholly unimpressed with the giraffes.

Ready for free admission

Today is free admission day at the Sacramento zoo. Katy and I took the girls.

Camping!

...in the backyard. Yes, that's right, we set up the tent and Drew and his buddy Aidan are sleeping in the great outdoors with Rich tonight. Aidan has never slept outdoors before and he's very excited...to play DS for a couple of hours huddled in a sleeping bag next to Drew in a sleeping bag playing DS. Ah, camping!

Hanging tall

Drew liked being taller than the adults.

Ekg

Katie had her first of many preventative EKG's today. Thankfully, she slept through most of it.

4 month checkup

Waiting for her exam, she was all smiles. Her stats: 13 pounds, 1.5 ounces (32%), 24.5 inches (54%) and her noggin is 16.25 inches (56%). A solid growing effort over the past two months!

Tired teether

Katie hasn't been sleeping or napping very well of late due to teething. The perpetual state of exhaustion is catching up to her.

Froyo boyo

Chocolate with a disgusting assortment of toppings.

Houston, we have...

...foot. After a brief tutorial from halmoni a week ago, she's found her foot herself. It has become a popular object for her mouth in spite of the effort required to reach it.

Caught!

Red handed evading sleep! She has scooted her way seven inches or so down from where she started. Lots of rolling up on one side, then dropping back, playing with her feet (sadly encased in jammers), then up on the other side. No sleep in sight after half an hour of this routine.

Discovering hands

Smiley girl

Yummy feets

Monstro the dog

Biggest great Dane I've ever seen. Drew was afraid of it, I had to talk him into posing.

Still some room to grow...

Standing on tippity toes.

Loving the new jumper

Despite extreme fatigue!

Napping

She fought the naps again this afternoon, but the sleepies were victorious!

Hanging with Rita

Rita came to check out Drew's swimming lessons and hung out with us in the shade.

Chomp

She likes sucking my thumb sideways. More like chewing on it, actually.
