Dead mouse

Someone in the office came upon a bunch of old computer stuff, which they took over to me to identify. Among the junk was this jewel of computer accessories, the Apple Pro Mouse. Not a lot of computer mice actually pull off 'sexy', but this one did. The entire mouse is a button, but it works perfectly, with no missed clicks. Despite being a one-button no-scrollwheel-having oddity, I resolved to make it my primary pointing device, even though I'm on Windows at work, but sadly, it's near death. It identifies as a USB device, then dies. Then appears, then dies. The mighty mouse is okay, but this is truly one of Apple's triumphs.

Mapleshade wants your money

I'm not sure why this catalog arrived at our house, but I spent a good 45 minutes reading it last night and getting mad at it. They are purveyors of "audiophile" equipment, such as brass discs that you place on top of your CD player for superior sound, $500 RCA cables, wooden platforms that make your speakers sound like you spent $1000 more than you did on them, and CD spray that unleashes the music held within. I'm not sure why audiophile equipment has to so blatantly fly in the face of accepted science, but if you want to read more on their insane claims or purchase some of their overpriced snake oil, do so at mapleshaderecords.com. Enjoy your warmer, fuller sound, and unleash the true potential of your $100,000 audio setup.

Sizing issues
Uh...two Drews fit into his shorts, his socks reach his unmentionable area and his shirt reaches his knees. It's like these people don't have little kids playing or something.

Natural???
I drink soda. I like soda. I like natural soda. I have no delusions that my Coca-Cola and Pepsi products are good for me. This despite vitamin fortified Coke. Apparently Pepsi thinks they can lull you in with recycled unbleached cardboard and call the product natural? Who on earth would be that gullible?
